Primary Staffing Inc. is seeking an Inspector/Packer to join our manufacturing team.

You will trim, inspect, and pack finished products, ensuring quality and accurate labeling, while maintaining safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities include trimming flash, packing into cartons, overseeing machines, performing quality checks, keeping ink trays and glue tanks stocked, and maintaining an orderly production area.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Good vision to inspect product quality and ensure precise handling.
• Work in conditions that may include close proximity to moving parts, noise, and dust.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent standing, walking, and bending are required.
• Work involves exposure to high temperatures, noise, and dust.
• Required safety gear includes hair nets, safety glasses, earplugs, and gloves.

• Pack products into appropriate cartons, using caps, sides, and banding to secure and ensure safe transport.
• Oversee machine operations; notify appropriate personnel when any issues occur to maintain product quality.
• Inspect products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards before being packed.
• Maintain ink trays and glue tanks, ensuring they are filled as needed.
• Complete necessary paperwork, ensuring accuracy in labels and product information.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the production area clean and orderly.
• Adhere to all safety standards and wear required protective gear such as hair nets, safety glasses, earplugs, and gloves.
