Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a diligent worker for the 3rd shift, from 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM, Monday through Friday nights, on Grand Island, NY. The role offers a salary range of $17.51–$19.51 per hour with final pay determined by experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities include packaging life-saving medicines on a high-speed line, performing visual inspections, and adhering to SOPs and cGMPs. A high school diploma or GED and ability to lift up to 40 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to perform repetitive work.
• Must be able to focus on details for periods of time (visual inspection, labeling).
• Must be able to use pallet jacks to pull/push pallets of product.
• Must be able to pass Vision 5 visual acuity testing administered by occupational health administrator, pre-employment and annually thereafter.
• Previous machine operator experience or mechanical aptitude are preferred, particularly HMI experience.
• English as the primary business language; able to communicate in English for policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Package life‑saving medicines on a high‑speed computerized assembly line.
• Conduct visual inspection and move product on and off the assembly line.
• Strictly follow SOPs and documentation requirements; identify and report problems; become a qualified inspector.
• Make minor adjustments and assist with changeover and setup to equipment.
• Visually inspect vials and labels; ensure packaged product meets all specifications.
• Comply with all SOPs and cGMPs; continue training and train other crew members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment; ensure a safe working environment and wear clean room safety equipment.
• Work overtime as needed.
