Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in the United States is seeking personnel for a night shift packaging operator role. The position involves packaging life-saving medicines on a fast-paced, automated line, performing visual inspections, and ensuring all SOPs and cGMPs are followed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to perform repetitive work.
• Must be able to focus on details for periods of time (visual inspection, labeling).
• Must be able to use pallet jacks to pull/push pallets of product.
• Must pass Vision 5 visual acuity testing.
• Previous machine operator experience or mechanical aptitude preferred (HMI).
• English required to perform essential functions in a heavily regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Package life-saving medicines on high-speed, computerized assembly line.
• Conduct visual inspection and move product on and off the line.
• Follow SOPs and documentation requirements; identify and report problems.
• Become qualified inspector.
• Make minor adjustments and assist with changeover and setup to equipment.
• Visually inspect vials and labels; ensure packaging meets specifications.
• Comply with SOPs and cGMPs.
• Train as well as train other crew members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure safe working conditions and wear cleanroom safety gear.
• Work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• 3rd Shift is 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM, Monday through Friday nights
• Salary Range: $17.51 – 19.51/hour
• Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Package life-saving medicines on high-speed computerized assembly line. Conduct visual inspection, move product on and off assembly line. Strictly follow standard operating procedures and documentation requirements. Identify and report problems. Must be willing to become qualified inspector.
