Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC in Melrose Park, IL seeks an entry-level to mid-level quality control/inspection role. Responsibilities include visual product inspection, accurate documentation, and adherence to SOPs and cGMPs.

The position supports manufacturing operations on the night shift with an hourly rate of $19.91 and a $1.75 overnight differential. The role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years pharmaceutical experience preferred, and solid math and communication skills.

• Loads/unloads vials and handles pallets of product.
• Complies with SOPs and cGMP guidelines.

Job Summary

Hourly Rate: $19.91 per hour.
Overnight Shift Differential: $1.75 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Visually inspects products for various defects.
• Documents work accurately and timely.
• Complies with current SOP's and cGMP's.
• Sets-up, adjusts, and operates equipment such as inspection machines, cappers, etc.
• Performs and documents critical start-up procedures for filling operation such as filter integrity test, line clearance, component verification, etc.
• Performs and documents quality checks on product.
• Calculates percent defective on inspection results and reconciles components on batch record.
• Loads and unloads vials from turntables. Stacks, wraps and moves pallets of product.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• One (1) to three (3) years pharmaceutical experience preferred.
• Basic math skills to perform required calculations (multiplication/division).
• Visual ability to detect defective vials.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Must maintain acceptable visual acuity.
• Must be able to maintain visual inspection qualification requirements.
