Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking a Packer I in Batavia. You will package products to specification, assist production flow, and maintain quality and safety standards in an indoor manufacturing environment. The role includes standing for long hours and potential overtime on Fridays.

The position requires 6 months packing experience preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent. You will work in a fast-paced setting with emphasis on safety and teamwork, reporting to the Shift Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required; manufacturing experience and basic literacy/numeracy skills acceptable.
• Willingness to stand for long periods and perform repetitive packing tasks.
• Ability to follow safety and quality procedures in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Package product to meet all specified requirements.
• Segregate and identify nonconforming material and stack properly.
• Report unidentified non-conformances to supervisors.
• Support gluer operations as a packer/inspector.
• Place cards into corrugated boxes and into cases.
