Job summary

Amcor LLC in Valdosta, Georgia, is seeking a Molding Packer for the night shift (6:45pm – 7am). The primary responsibility is inspecting products for defects and ensuring quality packaging according to strict guidelines.

Job description

Night Shift: 6:45pm - 7am with every other weekend off

Primary responsibility of the Molding Packer is to inspect the product for defects and pack quality product according to work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of self and co‑workers as a core priority.
• Visually inspect product and identify non‑conformities.
• Pack quality product into boxes according to customer specifications and company guidelines.
• Immediately place non‑conforming product into scrap bins.
• Read travelers and compare labels for accuracy.
• Prepare packaging in accordance with traveler instructions.
• Perform repetitive motion work with hands.
• Communicate quality questions to necessary personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station.
• Pack lids or containers from any assigned machine.
• Know which supplies are needed each day and where to obtain them.
• Report safety concerns or problems to the Group Leader.
• Follow food safety and regulatory responsibilities.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 35 pounds overhead.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for 12 hours per day.
• Ability to work near moving mechanical parts.
• Must wear required PPE: safety glasses, ear plugs, bump caps, beard/hair nets, steel‑toed shoes (additional PPE may be required for specific tasks).

Schedule

12‑hour night shift (6:45pm – 7am) with a rotating schedule: two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off, etc.; every other weekend off.
