Herr Foods Inc. in Nottingham, PA is hiring a Warehouse Laborer to support high-volume distribution operations. The shift runs Monday through Friday from 3:30pm to 1am, starting in Nottingham and moving to North East before year-end.

Position requires physical work, background checks and a pre-employment drug screen, with the ability to lift 50 pounds. On-site benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401k with company match and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Must pass background and pre-employment drug screen.
• Preplacement screening to assess physical requirements.

• Ability to work in wet/humid conditions; extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Stack cases and boxes, set up a track on trailers, pick orders.
• Sort materials by size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Move pallets with electric and manual pallet jacks.
• Accurately count and record materials for distribution.
• Warehouse clean-up.
• Operate kicker stations on chip and snack lines and turn off air to clear jams.
• Ensure ERP data entry for production orders, materials, and finished goods.
• Update ERP records with real-time production and inventory data.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Other ERP duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a qualified individual for our Warehouse Laborer position, to join our Nottingham, PA team!

• SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday
• SHIFT: 3:30pm-1am
• LOCATION: This position will begin at our Nottingham, PA warehouse but will be required to move to the North East warehouse before the end of the year.
• Additional hours may be required due to business demands.

• Stacking cases and boxes, setting up a track on trailers, picking orders, and removing cardboard from trailers.
• Mark, sort, and place materials or items on boards, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Move pallets with both electric and manual pallet jacks.
• Accurately count and record the number of materials and items for distribution.
• Warehouse clean-up.
• Is trained in the operation of the kicker stations on the chip and snack lines and understands to properly turn off air to the kicking station prior to clearing jams.
• Ensure that manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, and finished goods.
• Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real-time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data.
• Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with the necessary teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
• Other ERP responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
