Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Dallas, TX is seeking a Packer Feeder to move die-cut blanks through folder gluer machines, feed production lines, and help ensure quality. You will work closely with machine operators and the quality team to maintain production flow and accuracy.

You will inspect finished cartons, verify counts, and participate in line clearance while supporting finishing operations during peak periods. A strong emphasis on safety, attendance, and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
• Basic arithmetic skills including addition and subtraction.
• Willingness to work overtime during peak production periods.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to distinguish colors.

Responsibilities

• Feed die-cut blanks into folder gluer machines to support safe, efficient production.
• Inspect cartons for defects during packing and ensure quality standards.
• Verify case counts with the quality team to ensure order accuracy.
• Participate in line clearance activities after each production item.
• Assist in finishing operations and quality sorting as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per plant standards.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or incidents promptly.
