Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a reliable Packer for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Frankfort, IL. This role offers possible direct hire after 3–6 months, depending on performance and attendance. You will perform manual duties such as packaging, labeling, and sorting to meet production standards.

The shift is Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, at $15.50 per hour. Must stand for extended periods and be able to lift up to 50 pounds while working in a fast-paced, team environment with strong English

Qualifications

• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong reading and writing in English.
• Strong communication skills in a team.
• Basic math skills for packaging operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual duties including lifting, packaging, taping, labeling, and sorting.
• Package products to meet efficiency standards for quantity and quality.
• Move and stack products using a hand cart and pallet jack.
• Operate packaging room machinery as required.
• Pre-assemble components for packaging.
• Break down cardboard for recycling.
• Notify supervisor of machine maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow the 6S production plan.
• Assist other departments with duties as assigned.
