Job summary

Hydro North America in Indiana is looking for a material handler to support aluminum extrusion production. The role focuses on reading work orders, following specifications, and operating equipment safely.

You will lift and stack products, maintain clean work areas, and record counts. Shifts are day hours with extended seasonal hours as needed; no HS diploma required and basic math allowed.

Qualifications

• No High School Diploma or GED required.
• Little to no previous work-related skills, knowledge, or experience is needed.
• Must be able to work well with others as part of a team.
• Must possess a willingness to learn and an eagerness to grow.
• Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, divide, multiply).
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to use a calculator.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.
• Safely and efficiently operate assigned equipment or machine.
• Lifts and stacks products.
• Maintains efficiency standards set for assigned areas.
• Maintains good housekeeping of work areas.
• Accurately record numbers or lengths of units handled or moved.
• Must be able to work long hours as needed in seasonal temperatures.

Starting Rate of Pay: $ 19.51/hour

Shifts Available and Hours: Day shift- EOWEO/ 2-2-3; 5:45 am- 6:00 pm
