Job summary

Hamilton-Ryker in Fremont, OH is seeking a dedicated Packer to support our 8:00am–8:00pm A Shift. You will perform visual quality checks, assist with proper packaging and labeling, and rotate across lines to keep production moving smoothly.

Attention to safety, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and teamwork are essential. Prior experience is a plus, but strong reliability and basic math skills are required to count pieces and verify counts during packing processes.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual quality checks and ensure proper packaging and labeling.
• Rotate across multiple lines and areas as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow PPE protocols.
• Support production targets and quality standards on A Shift.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to support our CShift operations. As an integral part of our manufacturing process, you will ensure finished products meet quality standards through visual inspections, proper packaging, and labeling. Your efforts will contribute to smooth production workflows, safety, and overall product excellence.

Required Skills:

• Ability to perform visual quality checks (color, length, piece count).
• Lift up to 75 lbs repetitively
• Basic math skills (counting to 20).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and housekeeping standards.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience operating tunnel wrappers and Robo-Wrappers.
• Automated packaging or secondary process training.
• Forklift or power industrial truck certification.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing or packing experience is a plus.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work in a noisy, dusty, and temperature-variable environment.
• Willingness to rotate across multiple lines and areas.
• Must adhere to PPE and safety protocols.
