Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Packer B to support packaging lines in our Houston facility. You will package finished goods, assist operators, and help ensure products meet quality specs while adhering to safety rules.

The job follows a 2-2-3 12‑hour shift rotation, requires lifting up to 50 pounds, and attendance at monthly safety trainings. You will monitor quality, perform drum cleaning, and maintain housekeeping throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Willing to work a 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts and day/night rotation
• Willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds routinely
• 3+ months experience as a Packer in manufacturing of paper bags or similar is a plus
• Able to follow all safety & company rules
• Maintain dependable attendance and willingness to accommodate non-standard hours
• Capable of managing job-related stress and foster productive workplace interactions

Responsibilities

• Safety: follow safety rules, operate equipment safely, attend monthly safety training
• Quality: follow quality guidelines, monitor paper for specs, communicate issues quickly
• Production: package finished goods, support line operators, perform duties as directed, participate in corrective actions for defects, support plant targets, change paper rolls, drum cleaning, housekeeping
