Job summary

Inteplast Group in Kansas is seeking a Packer C to efficiently and accurately pack products for shipment, label them, and record weights to ensure quality standards. This role supports the production flow with on-the-job training and a steady schedule.

Shifts include 4pm–12am and 12am–8am, with pay starting at $15.00 per hour plus $2 and $3 shift premiums for evenings and nights with perfect attendance. Benefits, holidays, and on-site doctor visits are provided where available.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing preferred with knowledge of production and quality control.

TITLE: Packer C

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Efficiently and accurately pack products for shipment or storage, ensuring they meet quality standards and are properly labeled and documented. This role supports the overall production process by maintaining a steady flow of packed goods, minimizing waste, and adhering to safety and operational guidelines.

• Hiring for 4pm to 12am and 12am to 8am shifts
• Starting at $15.00 per hr. - earn $2.00 more per hour from 4pm to 12am and $3.00 more per hour from 12am to 8am with perfect weekly attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Legal eligibility to work in the US.
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred with knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing our return on investment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude for machines used in the production process.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complies with, monitors, and enforces all written and verbal safety regulations and programs of the plant and department.
• Understand and adhere to plant policies and procedures.
• Retrieve completed products from the production line and package them into boxes where you will then record the weight.
• Prepare packaging for the finished product by labeling with quality and date stamps.
• Inspect final product using bag checks ensuring proper documentation and timely communication of any issues.
• Demonstrate the capability to maintain pace with the production process and achieve daily production targets while also ensuring cleanliness in the designated area.

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• The warehouse is not climate controlled. Must be able to work in an environment that is extremely hot, humid in the summer months, and cold in the winter months.
