Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions, LLC is seeking a Packer (2nd Shift) in Greencastle, PA to pack, inspect, and label products for shipment. You will prepare pallets, verify correct labeling, and ensure boxes and pallets are ready for shipping.

The role requires standing most of the shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and basic computer use. Benefits include health coverage, 401k, and paid holidays after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must stand and walk for long periods (up to 10 hours).
• Repetitive use of both hands throughout shift.
• Ability to reach at/above shoulder level and bend at the waist.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and handle boxes safely.
• Ability to bend, stoop and twist as needed.
• Ability to operate a computer for data entry/records.
• Ability to read scales and gauges accurately.
• Ability to detect defects in product during inspection.

Department: Manufacturing & Distribution - General Labor

Location: Greencastle, PA

Reporting To: Amanda Knoblock

Compensation: $17.30 / hour

Description

Pack boxes of product according to specified numbers per box; Visually inspect the product to assure that a good quality product is shipped; May use gages and scales to inspect the product; Make labels and assure proper labeling with correct item, quantity, description, etc.; Ensure all boxes have been sealed and that the appropriate label has been applied; Prepare pallets of box product to be sent to shipping.
