Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions in Greencastle, PA is seeking a Packer (2nd shift) to assemble boxes of product, inspect for quality, label items accurately, and prepare pallets for shipping. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 2:30pm to 11:00pm, with a starting wage of $17.30 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

You will stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, read scales, and operate a computer as part of routine packing duties.

Qualifications

• Constant standing and walking up to 10 hours per day.
• Repetitive use of hands up to 10 hours per day.

• Bend, stoop and twist as needed.

Compensation: $17.30 / hour

Description

The Packer (2nd shift) is responsible for packing boxes of product according to specified numbers per box; Visually inspect the product to assure that a good quality product is shipped; May use gages and scales to inspect the product; Make labels and assure proper labeling with correct item, quantity, description, etc.; Ensure all boxes have been sealed and that the appropriate label has been applied; Prepare pallets of box product to be sent to shipping.
