Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions, LLC in Greencastle, PA is seeking a Packer (1st shift) to pack boxes, inspect quality, and ensure accurate labeling for shipping. You will prepare pallets for dispatch and support downstream shipping operations.

The role requires standing and walking most of the shift, with lifting up to 50 lbs and manual dexterity for label placement and measurement tasks. Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, benefits included.

Qualifications

• Requires constant standing and walking (up to 10 hours per day)
• Repetitive use of both hands (up to 10 hours per day)
• Repetitive reaching at/above shoulder level and bending at the waist
• Ability to lift boxes/product weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, stoop and twist
• Ability to utilize a computer
• Ability to read scales and gauges
• Ability to detect defects in product

Compensation: $16.30 / hour

Description

Packer (1st shift) is responsible for packing boxes of product according to specified numbers per box; Visually inspect the product to assure that a good quality product is shipped; May use gages and scales to inspect the product; Make labels and assure proper labeling with correct item, quantity, description, etc.; Ensure all boxes have been sealed and that the appropriate label has been applied; Prepare pallets of box product to be sent to shipping.
