Job summary

Imagineering Finishing Technologies is hiring in Niles, MI for a full-time on-site packing and inspection role. You will visually inspect parts, wrap and package to spec, and work with others to meet daily production needs.

The job emphasizes quality control, accuracy, and a clean workspace, with opportunities to perform additional duties as required. Eligible benefits and company support are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to visually inspect each part for quality and consistency.
• Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Pack and unpack parts to customer specification.
• Inspect parts for nicks, dings, blisters, color distortion.
• Count and verify production orders.
• Wrap and package parts efficiently.
• Check the quality of work to meet customer expectations.
• Maintain a clean working area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary

Visually inspects, wraps, and package parts. Works with other packers in daily activities to meet production needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Pack and unpack parts to customer specification
• Inspect parts for nicks, dings, blisters, & color distortion
• Count and verify production orders
• Efficiently wrap and package parts
• Responsible for checking quality of work to ensure it meets the customer’s expectations
• Responsible for a clean working area
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Ability to visually inspect each part for quality and consistency
• Ability to apply reasoning and understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Ability to deal with problems by being flexible in otherwise normal situations

• Quality inspection experience a plus
