Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Packer/Handler to join our manufacturing team in Oregon. The role involves maintaining a safe workspace, inspecting products for quality, and assembling items by installing gaskets and handles. You will flame seal containers when required and prepare labels for packaging.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 35 pounds and work on a fast-paced line. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with a 12-hour shift schedule (2 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous production experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to keep up with fast-paced production cycles.
• Position requires agility and consistent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Inspect product to ensure quality and reject if below standards.
• Assemble product by installing gaskets in lids and handles in containers.
• Flame containers and lids when required.
• Stack and pack product per customer instructions.
• Prepare proper product identification and packaging labels.
• Assist with material handling and other tasks as needed.
• Complete required paperwork and any other duties as assigned.
