Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Packer/Handler in Saint Helens, Oregon to support 12‑hour production shifts. The role requires standing or sitting for long periods, lifting up to 35 lbs, and performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and safety.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with potential increases after 90 days, plus benefits and growth opportunities. You'll work in a high‑volume packaging environment, loading, assembling, labeling, and packing products according to customer specs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds safely.
• Ability to identify alpha/numeric product codes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.
• Inspect product quality and act on any issues.
• Assemble products by installing gaskets and handles.
• Flame containers and lids when required.
• Pack and label products per customer instructions.
• Assist with material handling and other tasks as needed.
• Clean during production interruptions and complete paperwork.
