Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies, LLC in Garden Grove, CA is seeking a packaging associate to prepare parts for shipment in a manufacturing environment. You will measure, weigh, count, inspect, and document packaging processes while ensuring ITAR compliance where required.

Responsibilities include sealing and labeling containers, assembling cartons, and maintaining clean work areas. Prior packaging experience and a GED/high school diploma are expected.

Responsibilities

• Package parts for shipment/transport; measure, weigh, and count products and materials
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specs are met
• Keep documentation with materials and record product, packaging, and order info
• Seal containers using stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas
• Follow supervisor instructions for specific tasks
• Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.)
• Visually inspect parts to ensure the process is complete
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Seal containers or materials, using stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools
• Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks
• Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.)
• Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctly
• Perform other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Valence Surface Technologies is required to verify that applicants meet ITAR requirements prior to employment for this role.
