Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Garden Grove, CA is seeking a packaging associate for a full-time, 3rd shift role. You will measure, weigh, and count products, inspect materials, and ensure packing specifications are met. You will document information, seal containers, and prepare cartons for shipment.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and physical ability to stand for long periods. Training provided; ITAR-regulated environment with a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to meet packing specs.
• Keep all documentation with the materials.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on forms.
• Seal containers using stretch wrap, tape, and other packing materials.
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers with hand tools.
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas.
• Follow supervisor instructions for tasks.
• Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage/scratches).
• Visually inspect parts to ensure proper completion of the process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting.

This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Valence Surface Technologies is required to verify that applicants meet ITAR requirements prior to employment for this role.
