Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Lawrence, MA is hiring for a full-time packaging/assembly role. You will measure, weigh, count, inspect, and pack products, seal containers, and maintain records.

Shift is Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm, with potential exposure to shop conditions exceeding 100 degrees. This position requires following supervisor instructions, ensuring part integrity, and performing basic cleaning and documentation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packaging specifications are met.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Seal containers or materials with stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials.
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools.
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas with cleaning solutions and hand tools.
• Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks
• Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.)
• Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Functions Statement

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in shop conditions and can be in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit

Pay Rate

$18.00
