Job summary

PPC-Flex in Buffalo Grove, IL seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to direct daily warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations for a flexible packaging converting operation.

This role leads hourly associates, enforces food-safety and GMP requirements, maintains inventory accuracy in the ERP/WMS, and coordinates with Production, Scheduling, Quality, and Customer Service to meet on-time shipments and accuracy targets.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in warehouse/logistics with supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of inventory control, FIFO, cycle counting and lot traceability.
• Experience with ERP/WMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and direct daily work of warehouse associates across receiving, put-away, staging, and shipping.
• Interview, hire, onboard and train new associates on equipment, systems, and safety.
• Set performance expectations and conduct reviews; coach and administer corrective action.
• Approve timecards and manage attendance/overtime within budget.
• Lead start-up meetings; communicate priorities, safety, quality alerts, and shipments.
• Foster an inclusive environment and enforce company policies.
• Oversee inbound receiving and outbound shipping to ensure accuracy.
