Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a Packaging Engineer - Throughput & MES to join the Atlanta West site in Forest Park, GA. You will drive throughput improvements across packaging and processing, partner with Maintenance and Operations, and own MES reliability and data integrity.

You will apply DMAIC, RCFA, FMEA and other formal methods to reduce losses, improve equipment capability, and lead limited capital or technical projects in a safety-conscious, diverse workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing or a related technical environment.
• Experience supporting or improving a Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
• Demonstrated experience improving equipment, process, or manufacturing performance.
• Experience with data, interfaces, system integration, testing, deployment or user training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive throughput improvements across packaging and/or processing operations.
• Partner with Maintenance and Operations to address performance issues and operating standards.
• Apply structured problem-solving methods (DMAIC, RCA, FMEA, RCFA) to root causes and sustain improvements.
• Lead limited capital or technical projects from scope through start-up and hand-off.
