Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a Packaging Engineer - Throughput & MES at the Atlanta West facility in Forest Park, GA. You will lead MES ownership, drive throughput improvements, and partner with maintenance and operations to improve equipment and process capability.

You will analyze data, apply DMAIC/RCA, and manage capital projects to deliver reliable MES performance and sustained improvements across packaging and processing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing or related technical environment.
• Experience supporting, administering, implementing, or improving a Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
• Demonstrated experience improving equipment, process, system, or manufacturing performance.
• Experience with manufacturing data, system integration, testing, deployment, or user training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead data-driven improvement initiatives to increase throughput and reduce bottlenecks.
• Partner with Maintenance and Operations to address performance issues and operating standards.
• Analyze data to identify systemic losses, determine root causes, and implement countermeasures.
• Lead or support capital or technical projects from scope to start‑up using formal PM practices.
