Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a Packaging Engineer Throughput & EIC Support for our Atlanta West facility in Forest Park, GA. You will lead data-driven improvements to packaging/processing throughput and work with maintenance and operations to eliminate bottlenecks and raise equipment capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, automation, maintenance, reliability, process improvement, or a related technical environment.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, instrumentation, controls, automation, PLC/HMI, drive, motor, sensor, and industrial communication systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead data-driven improvement work to increase throughput and remove bottlenecks.
• Provide secondary engineering support for electrical, instrumentation, controls, automation issues.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Operations to address performance issues and operating standards.
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (DMAIC, RCA, FMEA) for issue sustainment.
• Coordinate maintenance technicians, controls resources, and external engineering support during escalations.
• Lead or support limited capital projects from scope to start-up.
• Maintain technical documentation, drawings, parameters, and change records.
• Build Operations and Maintenance capability through coaching and knowledge transfer.
• Ensure all work aligns with safety, quality, environmental, regulatory, budget, and change-control requirements.
