Job summary

Amcor Limited is hiring for a packaging operator in Goshen, Indiana. The role focuses on accurate packaging, labeling, and stacking, while maintaining equipment and a clean, safe work area. You will ensure products meet specifications, follow GMPs, and adhere to ISO/QMS standards.

Training and mentoring of new hires will also be part of the job. Working with a team, you will help maintain production quality and efficiency, report issues promptly, and contribute to Amcor’s safety culture.

Qualifications

• Operate packaging equipment and ensure correct labeling and counts.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and follow GMP procedures.
• Adhere to QMS and ISO standards in daily tasks.
• Assist/train new hires and temporary staff.

Responsibilities

• Accurately package product as determined by supervisor (includes labeling, packing, computer entries)
• Stack or arrange packaged product on the correct skid
• Maintain machinery by refilling supplies and performing adjustments
• Keep machine and work area clean and safe
• Ensure products meet specifications through inspection
• Follow safety procedures at all times
• Train and mentor new hires and temps
