Job summary

Eastman Chemical Company in Linden, New Jersey seeks a Packager to operate and maintain production equipment in a safe, efficient manner within a union environment. You will perform blending, packaging, and shipping tasks, conduct basic inspections, and support quality assurance with attention to detail.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, 3 years of manufacturing experience, and the ability to obtain TWIC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience with production, warehousing, maintenance and/or process experience required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment.
• Ability to operate packaging and process equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs as needed.
• Receive, blend, package, rework and ship lubricants per procedures.
• Safely operate forklift and inspect packaged items for quality.
