Job summary

Church & Dwight is seeking a Night Shift Packaging Operator in New Jersey to support production lines, monitor safety, quality and productivity, and ensure efficient workflow. You will operate packaging equipment, perform basic preventive maintenance, and assist with line changeovers while maintaining strict adherence to SOPs and GMPs.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Operates one major packaging line equipment on the production line.
• Conducts minor preventive maintenance tasks (lubrication, cleaning, inspections, adjustments).
• Assists mechanics/line technicians with planned maintenance activities.
• Performs daily safety checks, quality checks, checklists, and housekeeping.
• Clears equipment jams and reports issues to supervision immediately.
• Maintains equipment, performs changeovers, washouts, and sanitizations as needed.
• Adheres to SOPs and GMPs; uses PPE and follows safety procedures.
