Job summary

PVS is hiring for a Packaging/Manufacturing Operator in Cincinnati, OH to support filling operations and container transfers. You will operate filling equipment, maintain clean work areas and follow safety, security, and quality procedures daily.

Required is a high school diploma or GED with chemical handling experience and knowledge of DOT regulations. Training on emergency procedures and regulatory compliance is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Chemical handling or filling experience or training.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Knowledge of chemical hazards and labeling requirements.
• Knowledge of chemical segregation requirements.
• Knowledge of applicable regulatory and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Presentable uniform appearance is required.
• Ensure proper maintenance and housekeeping of the area assigned.
• Comply with safety, security and quality requirements.
• Inspect and certify containers
• Perform Manufacturing Orders in M3
• Participate in APQP’s, PSM’s and MOC’s relevant to packaging operations
• Operate filling machines to meet needs of the specified orders
• Perform container to container transfers
• Able to operate a forklift to move containers around during the filling process
• Participate in spill response
