Job summary

ITW Evercoat in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Production Operator to safely and efficiently package finished goods in a batch chemical production environment.

You will communicate with supervisors, follow BOMs and SOPs, set up and operate equipment, and ensure packaging meets safety and quality standards. The role requires willingness to wear PPE and a Tue-Fri, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule.

High school diploma preferred; 6 months chemical experience preferred; forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
• 6 months work experience in a chemical environment preferred.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and basic math.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
• Ability to climb stairs, stand or sit for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 55 lbs. repetitively.
• Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work a consistent schedule of: Tuesday-Friday 6:00 AM- 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Supervisors and facility leadership regarding safety, production, quality, or any other operational issue
• Follows and performs Bill of Materials, Batch Sheets, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Set-up, adjust, operate, perform changeovers, monitor, trouble-shoot problems, and clean all production line equipment.
• Package batches in accordance with all safety, quality, and efficiency standards by following SOPs, batch sheets, and verbal directions.
• Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including half-face respirator when
