Job summary

Safecor Health in Columbus, OH is seeking a Production Technician to support packaging and barcoding unit-dose medications in our production facilities. You’ll operate packaging equipment to repackage oral solids, fill cups and syringes as specified, and perform routine maintenance to keep the workflow running smoothly and safely.

This role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to cGMP and regulatory standards, teamwork, and quick problem solving in a fast-paced hospital supply chain environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, technical training in packaging preferred.
• Experience in packaging or manufacturing, especially healthcare, is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to follow regulatory standards.
• Ability to operate packaging equipment and perform basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Unit-Dose Packaging: Perform all unit-dose medication packaging, completing daily orders as required.
• Workstation Maintenance: Ensure workstation is stocked with supplies needed to fulfill services.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily preventative maintenance on packaging equipment and troubleshoot.
• Labeling: Generate accurate packaging labels per specifications and SOPs.
• Compliance: Follow SOPs in line with cGMP and regulatory standards for safety and quality.
