Job summary

Amcor is hiring a Packaging Technician to support the Days shift in a bi-weekly rotating schedule. You will operate automated packaging lines, pack products, and ensure quality control while maintaining accurate production records.

The role requires the ability to work on multiple automated lines, follow GMP and SQF guidelines, and assist with training new staff. Compensation is listed at $16.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience operating a Palletizer is required.

Responsibilities

• Packs at designated lines and maintains production-based speed.
• Inspects materials, products, and containers at each step of packaging.
• Records information such as weight, time, and date packaged and defects found.
• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive trucks and control movement of lifting devices.
• Assists with training new employees and maintains GMP and SQF compliance.
