Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Packaging Technician I/II to join their 2nd shift in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include inspecting and labeling, setting up packaging equipment, and adhering to cGMP and safety standards.

The role requires attention to defect trends, accuracy in sampling for quality and stability testing, and documentation on BPR/SOPs. Training and certification in PDA Lexicon-based defect identification are needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass annual vision testing for near vision and colorblindness.
• Must be able to pass initial visual inspection certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Able to identify product defects in accordance with the PDA Lexicon for glass defects and other applicable SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Detect and identify defect trends during inspection of manufactured products.
• Inspect final container products for multiple categories of defects.
• Document tasks on Batch Production Records (BPR), SOPs or other acceptable forms.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and maintain department housekeeping at an optimal level.
• Meet and maintain visual inspection recertification requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
