Job summary

Mays Chemical, a Ravago company, is seeking a Packaging Technician to join the Greenwood facility. The selected candidate will report to the Production Manager and support packaging operations, quality checks, and sanitation tasks.

Responsibilities include following food safety standards, performing sampling, and ensuring accurate batch records and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehouse or production environment preferred.
• Experience handling chemical/hazardous materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, quality, and cGMP procedures under GFSI guidelines.
• Execute pre/post-production sampling and repackaging/blending tasks.
• Ensure equipment is set up and running to meet production plans.
• Inspect containers for specifications, cleanliness, and conditions.
• Perform line clearances and complete batch records per procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and rooms.
• Assist in inbound receiving and QA checks before shipment.
• Participate in cycle counts and maintain accurate documentation.
• Work independently and with supervision to complete duties.
