Job summary

Steel Technologies LLC is seeking a Packager to set up and operate banding equipment and packaging lines. You will prepare skids, ensure correct labeling and segregation, and safely move materials using forklift or crane within assigned areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, micrometers, calipers).
• Pass forklift certification and crane training.
• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare skids to customer specifications.
• Operate banding line equipment and crane as needed to package material.
• Package material to meet customer specifications per provided information and packaging instructions.
• Ensure proper identification and segregation.
• Operate forklift and/or overhead crane to move materials within areas of assignment.
• Maintain safe packaging area and production standards.
• Load, transport, unload, and stack materials per established procedures.
• Keep area clean and follow safety rules.
