Job summary

Opella is seeking a Packaging Technician to join its self-care production team. You will operate and maintain diverse packaging machinery, from tube fillers to bottle fillers and cappers, ensuring safety, quality and efficient output. The role involves setup, cleaning, troubleshooting, and contributing to sustainability goals.

This 3rd shift role (Mon-Fri, 10:30pm–7:00am) supports a fast-paced manufacturing environment, requiring physical work and adherence to cGMP and FDA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in manufacturing or production is preferred, including operating high-speed packaging equipment.
• Proficiency with packaging machinery and tools including lift trucks, tape machines, fillers, and labelers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain packaging lines to ensure safety, quality and output.
• Troubleshoot and improve packaging processes for efficiency.
• Set up lines and prepare packaging components for different products.
• Monitor quality and reject non-conforming materials.
• Document fill levels and follow SOPs and GMP requirements.
• Stay compliant with FDA/cGMP guidelines and assist with ongoing skill development.
