Job summary

Opella is seeking a Packaging Technician for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 2:00pm–12:30am) to operate and maintain packaging lines, from tube fillers to bottle fillers and cappers. Set up equipment, clean, and ensure safety, quality and output in our global self-care mission.

You must have a High School Diploma or GED and experience with high-speed packaging machinery, lifting up to 60 pounds, and following FDA and cGMP standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing and operating high-speed packaging equipment.
• Ability to lift 25–60 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Willing to undergo training and dress code.
• Follow FDA and cGMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and reassemble machinery using tools.
• Prepare packaging lines for products and ensure correct setup.
• Provide packaging supplies to maintain operations.
• Monitor product quality and reject nonconforming materials.
• Document fill levels per product specifications.
• Operate lines per Set-Up Sheets, SPIs, SOPs and procedures.
• Maintain safe environment and report hazards per FDA/cGMP rules.
