Job summary

Opella Healthcare Group is seeking a Packaging Technician for the second shift. You will operate and maintain packaging lines, set up and disassemble equipment, and ensure proper fill levels and quality in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with tube and bottle packaging machinery, follow SOPs, SPIs, and cGMP guidelines, and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments, including operating high-speed packaging or assembly equipment.
• Proficient in operating packaging machinery and tools: fillers, cappers, labelers, bundlers, tape machines, and lift trucks.
• Able to lift 25–60 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain packaging lines following Setup Sheets and SOPs.
• Disassemble/reassemble machinery for setup and maintenance as needed.
• Prepare lines for various products and ensure correct component setup.
• Monitor product quality and reject materials not meeting standards (FDA/cGMP).
• Maintain fill levels per product specifications and ensure safe working conditions.
