Job summary

Altium Packaging in Argos, IN is seeking an entry-level Production Packaging Associate responsible for proper packaging of materials and finished products. The role also loads, moves material, and operates packaging equipment while following Good Manufacturing Practices.

You will wear PPE, adhere to schedules, and work in a team to maintain clean, organized workstations. Training is provided within 90 days of hire, with overtime possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Prefer High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Monitors conveyor belts and clears bottle jams from lines.
• Inspects the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
• Moves finished goods to designated areas and maintains workstation organization.
• Performs bottle inspections and escalates abnormalities when found.
• Maintains inventory levels and replenishes packaging materials as needed.
• Supports shift transitions and collaborates with team to meet deadlines.
