Job summary

Abbott Nutrition Division in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a production operator for the 12-hour day shift (6:00am–6:30pm) with rotating onsite days. You will operate high-speed packaging lines, perform start/stop, clear jams, document batch data, and ensure quality and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and prior manufacturing experience, with strong attention to detail and ability to report issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate line information clearly to teams.
• High attention to detail required.
• Maintain accurate production records and batch work orders.
• Ensure steady supply of materials and proper releases.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate high-speed production equipment per procedures.
• Start up/shut down equipment and clear jams.
• Report abnormal equipment function or product problems to Supervisor.
• Maintain inventory of packaging materials and complete work orders.
• Perform quality checks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Maintain clean and safe work area using 5S principles.
• Adhere to product isolation procedures and proper identification.
