Job summary

Aerotek in Irving, TX is seeking a Packaging Technician to receive batch orders, weigh materials, and package products in a climate-controlled warehouse. You will document all orders and ensure accuracy while standing for long periods on a first shift that runs 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Title: Packaging Technician Job Description

As a Packaging Technician, you will be responsible for receiving batch orders, weighing out materials, and packaging products. You will spend your day on your feet, taking precise measurements and documenting all orders while compounding batches.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process batch orders accurately.


• Weigh and package materials as per specifications.


• Document all orders and maintain accurate records.


• Operate equipment such as sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers.


• Repackage and break down bulk orders.


• Receive and ship products in smaller quantities to customers.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in packaging or as a mixer batcher in a production or warehouse environment.


• Proficiency in packing, shipping, and receiving.


• Experience with inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with general labor tasks.


• Ability to operate sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
