Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Packaging Technician for our client, a local packaging manufacturer in Wisconsin. You will help operate the machine, perform quality checks, and pack finished goods for shipment.

The role is 2nd shift, 10 hour shifts, Mon-Thu 2p-12a, with a pay rate of $18.00–$20.00 per hour based on experience. Opportunity for evaluation-to-hire and full benefits upon hire in a casual, small-team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in manufacturing or packaging preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret measurements with a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Set up the packaging machine and run production.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards.
• Measure, count, and package finished goods for shipment.
• Identify and remove defective items from production.
• Document production issues and waste with team.

Packing Technician Job Summary:

We are seeking a Packing Technician to join our client, a manufacturer of flexible packaging and resealable bags. As a Packaging Technician, you will play a crucial role in our client’s production process by helping to operate the machine, and carefully checking and packing finished products. Your responsibilities will include set up and operation of the machine a well as quality checking finished products, ensuring proper measurements, count, and seal, as well as packing products according to specifications, making sure they are ready for shipment and distribution.

Packaging Technician Responsibilities:

• Set up of machine
• Running the machine
• Examine and inspect products to ensure quality is met
• Measure and count finished products
• Pack products into boxes/crates in specified quantities
• Remove defective products and place them in designated areas
• Collaborate with others to document and track production issues, waste, and delays

Hand Packer Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, machine op/packaging preferred
• Ability to read and interpret measurements using a tape measure
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Mathematical skills (basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
