Job summary

Didion Milling, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Technician in Cambria, WI to keep packaging lines running smoothly and ensure high-quality output. The role involves troubleshooting, quality checks, and data entry for outbound shipments, with a 2-2-3 rotation or 4 on/4 off night schedule.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, basic driving skills, and strong English communication. Forklift experience is a plus; manufacturing and food-safe environment experience is valued.

• Location: Cambria, WI
• Available Schedules:
  • 6am-6pm on a 2-2-3 rotation
  • 6pm-6am on a 4 on/4 off schedule
• Compensation:
  • $22-$25/hour based on experience
  • $3 per hour shift premium and an extra 40 hours of paid time off for night shift!

What You’ll Do

• Keep packaging equipment running smoothly and efficiently
• Troubleshoot jams, seals, and equipment issues quickly
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet high standards
• Complete paperwork and data entry for outbound shipments

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Graduate, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Basic driving skills required; forklift driving experience a plus.
• General computer competency required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, in particular a food safe environment, a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously using critical thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills to complete assigned tasks safely without supervision.
• Demonstrate ownership of job function and area equipment.
• Demonstrate personal initiative and collaborative, team player approach.
• Ability to proactively drive continuous improvement project creation and execution.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently in order to communicate effectively with team members within and external to pack department.
