Henkel seeks a Packaging Technical Specialist to coordinate materials, testing, equipment, and reports to support new product launches and packaging qualifications. This role will oversee the Packaging Lab daily operations to ensure adherence to SHE standards, train staff, and collaborate with packaging engineers to prioritize testing and lab improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate materials, testing, equipment, reports and maintenance to support new product launches and packaging qualifications.
• Provide day-to-day operational management of the Packaging Lab ensuring compliance with Henkel SHE standards and procedures.
• Communicate with package engineers on testing and with suppliers regarding operation, calibration and maintenance of lab equipment; train and supervise technicians and interns.
• Collaborate with Packaging Engineers to assess testing requirements, prioritize load, perform hands-on testing, and coordinate activities among staff to ensure timely project support.
• Support development and expansion of lab capabilities by establishing standard work practices, evaluating new equipment, and proposing improvements.

What you´ll do

• The Packaging Technical Specialist will coordinate materials, testing, testing equipment, reports, maintenance, support 3D model making, and some administration work with regards to equipment capabilities to support new product launches and product/package qualifications.
• The candidate will provide day to day operational management of the Packaging Lab ensuring compliance with all Henkel corporate SHE standards policies, and procedures.
• The candidate will communicate with package engineers on testing, communicate with suppliers regarding operation, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory test equipment, train and supervise all other technicians and interns in the lab, and ensure the continued function of lab capabilities in support of the Lab Manager’s responsibilities.
• Partner with Packaging Engineers to assess project testing requirements, prioritize laboratory workload, perform hands‑on package testing, and coordinate testing activities among technicians, temporary staff and interns to ensure timely project support.
• Support the ongoing development and expansion of laboratory capabilities by establishing standard work practices and test methods, evaluating new equipment, coordinating supplier demonstrations, and providing recommendations to enhance Packaging Lab performance and efficiency.
