Henkel Corporation in the United States is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support the Adhesive Technologies laboratory. The role focuses on safe lab practices and applying control measures for testing and data collection.

You will assure all R&D laboratory work is conducted safely, operate and troubleshoot moderately complex equipment, and document experimental results in accordance with Henkel policies. Collaboration with internal/external customers is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Assure all R&D laboratory work is conducted in a safe manner including understanding SDSs, PPE, site safety practices, use of laboratory equipment, and 5S; ensures products and processes comply with federal and state regulatory agencies.
• Take on equipment ownership to operate application equipment safely and efficiently. Able to set up, operate and troubleshoot equipment of moderate complexity
• With minimal supervision, accurately follow process procedures and record experimental details, collecting and organizing data in a coherent format.
• Report laboratory results and methods according to Henkel lab book policies; results, reports and observations will be communicated to internal/external customers in a timely manner
• Execute standardized test plans with minimal supervision
• Help develop new tests for materials performance as required and apply learning from one project to the next
• Familiar with products and substrates associated with assigned technology team/market/region
• Prepare graphs or charts of data. Must have ability to identify and report abnormalities in collected data and/or project work to supervisors
• Plan daily and weekly activities, multi-tasking as necessary to complete assigned tasks
• Train other technicians regarding equipment operating and/or test procedures

• Report laboratory results and methods according to Henkel lab book policies;results, reports and observations will be communicated tointernal/external customers in a timely manner
