Job summary

Grande Cheese Company in Brownsville is seeking a Packaging Team Leader for the 1st shift (2/2/3 rotating). The role involves supervising team members, operating and troubleshooting packaging lines, training, mentoring, and maintaining production records to meet quality, safety, and efficiency goals.

Hours are 4:00am–4:00pm with a starting pay of $26.54 per hour plus night and weekend shift premiums; benefits include on-site clinics, fitness center, healthy snacks, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Required: High School or GED; Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum four years of related work experience and/or training.
• Experience in packaging/food manufacturing is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members to meet production, quality, and safety standards.
• Operate and troubleshoot packaging lines and equipment.
• Train and mentor team members; communicate opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
