Job summary

Foth, a 100% member-owned science and engineering consulting firm based in Wisconsin, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op for our Packaging Systems Team in Green Bay, WI. This co-op spans Summer and Fall 2027 and offers real-world experience on a range of projects involving material handling equipment, packaging machinery, automation, and production-line improvements.

You will work alongside experienced engineers, supporting design, analysis, and implementation efforts, with opportunities

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program.
GPA 3.0 or greater.
Coursework or experience with AutoCAD Mechanical 2D functions.

Responsibilities

Support the design, evaluation, and improvement of packaging systems and production lines.
Assist with packaging line assessments and development of engineering recommendations.
Contribute to engineering deliverables such as equipment specifications, layouts, and testing plans.
Perform engineering analysis and calculations to support project design and execution.
Participate in equipment testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
Gain hands-on experience through site visits and travel to client and vendor facilities.
