Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • GPA of 3.0 or greater.
  • Experience or coursework involving P&IDs and standard process calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with field data gathering under the direction of a process engineer.
  • Create and maintain clear design documents (P&IDs, equipment plans, piping drawings, photo drawings).
  • Assist with CADD in the preparation of drawings for process and utility system projects.
  • Understand, interpret, and develop design and construction specifications.
  • Perform standard process system calculations (pump sizing, energy balance, fluid flow analysis).
  • Develop equipment lists.
