Job summary

Foth is seeking a team-focused Project Packaging Designer to join our Green Bay, WI office. You will assist engineers with the design and integration of packaging systems for food, beverage, and consumer products industries, and develop 2D/3D CAD layouts for equipment integration.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers, support field verification, and contribute to drawing packages. Travel ~10–20% annually as needed to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/associate level degree or equivalent in mechanical design or engineering tech.
• 2+ years CAD design experience (academic, internship, or professional).
• Proficient with 2D and 3D CAD software; comfortable with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and senior designers with packaging system design and integration.
• Perform field information gathering and site verification activities.
• Create and update 2D/3D CAD layouts for packaging systems and equipment integration projects.
• Support packaging system component design per project requirements and specs.
• Develop and maintain engineering drawing packages and documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Collaborate with process, mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers.
• Participate in client meetings and project coordination efforts.
• Assist with equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and field troubleshooting.
• Support with equipment specs, installation scopes, and technical docs.
• Manage multiple projects with strong organization and attention to detail.
• Travel to client sites ~10–20% annually
